Privacy Policy

Roxcircle ("we", "us") is a training and community app for HYROX athletes, operated by Jerome Anyayahan in the Philippines. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using Roxcircle you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account details: email address, @username, display name, country, role (Athlete, Coach, Gym or Brand), and a password if you sign up with email. If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive an Apple identifier and the name and email you choose to share (which may be a private relay address).
- Profile content: your photo, bio, gym or coach affiliations, and brand or gym details if you register as one.
- Training data: workouts you build or are assigned, sessions you log, station splits, personal records and plan progress.
- Content you share: posts, comments, photos, videos, selfies, chat messages and voice messages, and the circles you join.
- Location: approximate or precise location, only while you use the app and only if you allow it, to tag posts and to find nearby gyms.
- Push notification token: a device token so we can send notifications and set your app badge.
- Technical data: basic device and log information needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To create and run your account and show your profile and posts.
- To log training, generate workouts, and compute personal records and leaderboards.
- To deliver chat, notifications, daily workout reminders and email (sign-in, password reset, email confirmation).
- To review Coach, Gym and Brand applications.
- To keep the service safe, fix problems and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run Roxcircle. They process data only on our behalf:
- Supabase: database, authentication and file storage.
- Apple: Sign in with Apple and push notifications (APNs).
- Expo: push notification delivery.
- Resend: transactional email.
- Mapbox: location search and maps.
- OpenAI: to generate workouts, we send your request and relevant training details. We don't send your name or email.
Content you post is visible to the audience you choose (your circles, public, or just you). Your public profile, posts and the circles you join may be seen by other users. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users and the service.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account from Settings & Privacy in the app, which removes your profile and associated data. You can also email [email protected] to request deletion. Some data may remain briefly in backups or where we must keep it by law.
Your choices and rights
- Edit your profile and email in the app at any time.
- Turn off location, camera, microphone or notifications in iPhone Settings.
- Request access, correction or deletion of your data by emailing us. If you are in the Philippines, you have rights under the Data Privacy Act of 2012; other regions may have similar rights, and we honor reasonable requests.
Security
We use industry-standard protections, including encrypted connections and access controls on our database. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep your device protected.
Children
Roxcircle is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we'll update the date above and notify you in the app where appropriate.
